Fanlisting?A fanlisting is a special website, where all fans of a precise subject are listed. It can be a fanlisting of a play, a country, an actor, or even an object. This
fanlisting was created to unite all fans of the young and talented Japanese singer, Ai Otsuka.
Otsuka, Ai (大塚愛)Ai Otsuka was born on September 9th 1982 in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. At a young age, Ai started taking piano lessons and eventually mastered it during her teenage years. She formed a band with her best friend during those years and started writing and composing songs. Ai's band, Himawari, disbanded in 2001 after producing a few songs without popular success. In 2003, Ai sent demo tapes to different record labels and eventually got signed to Avex Trax, Japan's largest independent label. After an unsuccessful debut single, she had a breakthrough with her second single, Sakuranbo (さくらんぼ) which was a huge karaoke hit in Japan. She remains today one of the most popular female singer-songwriters in her country, winning many awards and topping charts with each release.
